North Beach

Today started off quietly with chores and cooking. After lunch, we set off to go to North Beach via the J Church. We recently signed up for a CSA with Tierra Vegetables, and the drop-off is at a natural wine shop called Friend of a Friend in North Beach. They are raising money to buy the land they've farmed are working with Geoff Davis from Burdell restaurant in Oakland, who will continue the legacy of Tierra. Here is more about their fundraiser to buy the land they farm and try to keep their farm - they have until December 1 to buy it. They are great people, and I hope they are successful. The CSA will support them, and it's also fun for us to trek over to North Beach 2x/month for a box of wonderful veggies.
