Annual Celebration

Today was a busy day. We headed over early to the East Bay to pick up my new hearing aids, and while there, we got a few things at the farmer's market. We zipped back to the city and went on a nice walk that got us a cup of coffee and some quiet time with a book at our favorite neighborhood library. Later, we had our friends Karl and Rebecca over for the annual celebration of our birthdays. Three of us are within days of each other, and the fourth puts up with us celebrating her birthday again in December. We dined at Rintaro, which is just so lovely, and the food and service are wonderful. Then, walking home, we discovered it was SantaCon.

heading out of the city - so quiet and such a beautiful day
and the return is captured due to traffic
Nothing quite like the lovely Mt Tam
and back in the city
This enormous climbing rose with barely any leaves...
Library time!!!
Blue sky!
James Lick Middle School (lovely detail)
Rintaro here is the story of the building (sort of at the end) https://www.sfeatsinsf.com/san-francisco-food-blog/rintaro
That steaming bowl of goodness is Kama Tama Udon

Ended a fun day with a little headache.

Here is some good news about a new large nature reserve with hiking trails.

Sending oodles of love,
