Cold day
Today, it barely got out of the 40s here in the city. In the big picture, that isn't cold, but here it is because the wet wind, combined with the 40s, isn't warm, especially if it's all day. I still remember it being low 30s in Portland, Maine, in November, and it seemed warmer than this. The inside of one's nose probably knows the difference, but still, temperature isn't the full story. I worked at home today as I'm still having a rough time breathing (which makes sleeping difficult, too).
On a fun note, I'm compiling a cookbook of staff recipes, which opens up some interesting conversations. Talking to people about food is such a great way to connect.
Here are a few photos:

Have a splendid time slowing down and feeling nature, as people seem to go faster and faster this time of year.
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
