Birthdays

Today is our birthday! And what a gift - it rained, and the air quality is 29! Hallalujah!! I'm still wheezy and a little congested, but it feels different. The road to recovery goes through clean air. We had a quiet, cozy day. We watched the first two parts of Ken Burns' historical documentary "Prohibition." It was a perfect thing to do since I'm still feeling puny and we haven't had a totally quiet day in some time. The celebration part of our birthdays will be postponed until we feel better.

Very early on these days with LONG nights, I heard cars splashing about playing in the rain.

One of the wonderful things about a rainy day is the saturation of colors, where you get to see all the different kinds of colors and patterns.
