Leaves

There are so many beautiful leaves casually tossed on the ground to nourish it (although pavement catches them mostly). I love the way they sound. The London Plane tree makes a moderate crackle as you brush past it; the magnolias are incredibly loud in the gentlest of breezes. In autumn, in the place I come from, the American Elm leaves would get raked up, and to fall in them made the most slithery soft sound. Each tree has its own slithering sound and sumptuous crunch. Some even make lovely colors to enjoy as they decorate the earth.

Today was a typical workday in the office. Thursdays are very quiet as there are only three or four of us in the office. After around 3pm, it was only me. I don't mind at all, in fact, it's rather nice.

Also, tonight is a supermoon! Which means King Tides to watch out for, too.
