Sing because

Friday, the fifth of December. Good grief, this month. Today was a regular Friday workday. I had many meetings in the morning and then got some work done in the afternoon.

The main thing is that it's COLD. Authentically chilly, which puts a little dance in your step even if it doesn't make you sing.

The moon is still feeling very full at 97.7% To my eyes, it still looks mighty full. Sorry for all the moon pictures - in this season, I celebrate all forms of light.

The red things are starting
This character is one of the treats on our morning walk. He is smoking away, working on his laptop, using the garbage can as his table most mornings.
Slightly smoky (polluted) sweet sunset
moon rise
Quiet out when it's cold
The regal Bigleaf Magnolia (Magnolia macrophylla) that makes such loud noises when the wind blows through it, or you brush it.

Be glad we don't live where there is the lone star tick. Here is a story about the alpha-gal.

Here is a documentary about the history of Sing Sing Prison. Interestingly, it's called Sing Sing because there is a nearby village of the same name that got its name from the Native American (Algonquin) Sintsink tribe, "Sint Sinks," meaning "stone upon stone" or place of many stones.

Here is a poem for you.

Have a wonderful day.

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
