Merlin
Today was another very warm day in January. Air quality is pretty crummy - closer to 100 than to 50. I also don't know what this lovely weather now means for the smoke season.
I'm still in my Post-it note fest at work. The highlight at work was during lunch outside. There were many small birds, but a Merlin sped past at the speed of light. I only got a glimpse of the front of him and then his tail feathers as he was moving at an incredible speed.
Tonight, our fish CSA brought crab. That was dinner, accompanied by some lemon chard, roasted fennel, and a delicious salad. Our fish is on ice for tomorrow. Crab is a plus, not a usual share.

7:24 am – 5:13 pm which is 9 hours and 50 minutes of daylight! It is noticably lighter this week when I leave work compared to last week. It's so incredibly wonderful.
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
