Stairs and post-it notes

Today was a warm, glorious, blue day. The air quality was on the poor side, but that doesn't stop the feeling that spring is coming. It's still cold at night, and in the shadows, you want your hands in your pockets, but it's warming up, and the angle of the sun is not such a winter angle.

Currently, outside of meetings, I am marking up a physical book with a marker and Post-it notes to note every change since 2017. I want to tell our editors to just stop editing. In a 600-page book, nearly every page has one or more edits on it.

In January, everyone gets excited about exercise, and our stairs are in use, so we have been avoiding them. Today we decided to give it a go, and there was no one on them! There is something related in my brain about endless Post-it notes and many stairs all stacked up.

The red spot on Jupiter is an anticyclonic storm—a high-pressure storm - our hurricanes are low-pressure storms. It is caught between two jet streams. It is roughly twice the width of Earth, and has been raging for centuries, possibly over 300 years. The winds are blowing over 400 mph. It is special because of how long it has been a stable, raging storm. We don't know why it's been going on for so long, we don't know exactly why it's red, and we also don't know why it is slowly shrinking.
