Return of the Swift

Today was a beautiful day with the bluest of blue skies. The birds were out singing and playing with each other. The white-throated swifts are back, slicing through the sky with joy. Swifts are magical birds who can sleep on the wing. Their closest relatives are Hummingbirds and Asian Treeswifts.

Work was usual and in the office. I introduced a colleague to kefir; it's fun to connect around food. I'm working with three different French translators, trying to get things off the ground in a few directions. Each of them needs different things.

It's commercial crab season, let the feasting begin.

7:24 am – 5:11 pm, which is 9 hours and 47 minutes of daylight. Today, when I left work, it felt like daytime instead of twilight. I got home in twilight. Yippeee.
