Candles candles burning bright

Today, two months late, we properly celebrated our birthdays and took the day off. It felt totally right on cue, with wild winds and rainstorms, fiery, emblazoned discussions about feudalism and the transition to capitalism, and a scrumptious fish!

We played today and watched a documentary about the Silk Road. Had several walks in the rain, but none too long because it was chilly and windy. It was nice that we had a warm home to come home to.

Today, there are some photos from the new camera, which is a Fujifilm X100IV, plus my trusty iPhone, which is more likely to be near me. Hopefully, soon we can plan a day out to take the camera for a ride.

I'm very much still learning how to use the new camera, and it will be a process.

There is much good in the world. Remember to grab it dearly and make sure it has space to grow.

6:56 am – 5:51 pm, which is 10 hours and 54 minutes of daylight. We are so close to 11 hours! And yet the stormy weather makes it feel dark all day.
