Serenade of the white-crowned sparrow

Today was a magnificent day of fog and wind with the bluest skies. On our morning walk, we were serenaded by white-crowned sparrows. Listen here. This was coming from all directions and echoing off the buildings in quite a pleasant way to wake up.

It was a usual busy workday. I feel like I didn't get out enough.

Some good news around pesticides that are linked to Parkinson's

And some photos from last night's lunar eclipse.

And something different - Sunday Baroque.

Raven nest
Doesn't this look like something out of a movie? It's out the window of a friend in Portland, Maine. It's snowing.
