Spring

Another beautiful day. It is definitely springtime. The birds are singing, and more of them are visible. The flowers are blooming. Everyone is sneezing. Today was a meeting-heavy day. All meetings and no work means a growing to-do list. At lunch time, we had a hawk show.

The Iran war seems to keep getting worse. The effects of this war on the Ukraine/Russia war are complicated. Iran was making a lot of weapons for Russia. However, we are using a bunch of weapons that were going to go to Ukraine. Either war doesn't seem like it will end anytime soon, either.

Here, groceries keep getting more expensive, and gasoline also. Housing is out of reach for many, and there isn't enough slack in the system at any level. Add to that, many people are unemployed.

This site/movement is starting with the right baby steps.

Gray skies in the morning

Hawk show: either a sharp-shinned hawk or cooper's hawk caught a pigeon. He has it down on the recycling bin at work. That is him, post dinner on the chimney of the mortuary next door. That is all that is left of the pigeon stuck to the deck above the recycling bin.
