Vita sine litteris mors est

Today we had our date and decided it was a day for the library and a walk to appreciate the return of cooler weather. Early, I headed down to the Saturday farmers' market for a few things. Then we met up for a nice walk that ended at the library. After that, we went to our neighborhood cafe and had cappuccinos. The magic thing happened. There have been no real cups since the pandemic, and today the real mugs returned! These half days away from computers, the housework, and everything else are restorative.

We are also in the planning stages of electrifying our house or converting our natural gas appliances to electric. Forward progress is happening on that.

Library love

And the Banksy arrest, in case you missed it.

Fanciful morning clouds with coolness streaming through the windows
12.4% illumination

7:11 am – 7:22 pm, which is 12 hours and 11 minutes of daylight!

The bird of the day is the Connecticut Warbler

Here is a poem for you.

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
