Vernal Equinox
It is at long last the equinox. It already feels like summer. Tomorrow it is reported to be cooler. I'm not sure how that is possible, but it must be. There are far more skirts in the city than ever before. It was 89° today here in our neighborhood. Whew. That's warm.
I love that the equinox was important prehistorically, and it seems important now. Structures like Stonehenge and the Mayan pyramids show this. That ancient calendars note it. It seems like it should be the start of the new year. The days will continue to get longer! Let this be a moment of joy.
Today was a busy workday, setting up for new hires, technical system upgrades, app releases, and test builds.
I'm really sorry that this war is affecting the whole region. It's much better to work together for life, not death. It also illustrates how fragile the oil economy is and how desperately we need to move away from such dependence.
Greece is airlifting pets and owners out of the Middle East. Who knew having a pet would save you!
