Beauty before the storm

Today was a beautiful day with high clouds and light breezes. High of 67° and low of 52°. Occasionally, fish bone clouds would show up, which always seem to come before rain.

We spent the morning tidying up the garage. Prep-cooked for the week and chores in the afternoon. It's nice that it is cool enough to use the oven again. Word on the street is that we have a few days of rain starting tomorrow. It's wonderful that we are getting rain this late in the year. It's really good as we are only 86% of normal rainfall for this time of year

Oil companies are seeking protection from lawsuits. If they aren't doing anything wrong why do they need protection?
