Hills of SF
Today was the farmer's market, and then we had date day. We started off on our usual walk, but then kept going up and up and up different hills for a couple of hours. Then we went to the library to cool off and chill out. Had our packed lunch on a bench outside the library and watched birds. Then went walking up some other hills, then home. The rest of the day has been spent cleaning and cooking. Overall, we walked about 9.5 miles. We both really needed the day out with walking up giant hills. It was lovely. We are so lucky to live in a beautiful hilly city.
What feels like a slow-motion train wreck keeps rolling along. It's hard to watch the war, Kash Patel, the environmental rollbacks and outright attacks. Approval ratings are low. The economy is very hard for ordinary people.
