Ospreys!
Today was sunny and bright with ocean breezes. Quite a shift from the rainy days we've been having. The birds were out, and at lunch, a couple of Ospreys cruised by scaring the pigeons and even the crows. They were in full hunting mode right in urban Oakland, scaring everyone. Normally, their diet is strictly fish 99% of the time, but when food is scarce, or opportunistically, they may eat other mammals or birds. Anyway, that was the highlight of the day!
