The day of the gnatcatcher

The Blue-gray gnatcatcher, to be exact. I've seen this bird exactly twice. This time at the Humanist Hall and the time before at Bear Valley. I've seen it because its song is similar to, but distinct enough to grab your attention. Then you need to wait for it to show itself. It's a fast moving little bit of a bird. So that is the most exciting bird of the day. It was a beautiful, sunny day with a cool wind during the day and turned quite brisk at night.
