Clean out day

On Sundays, we usually cook, clean, and get ready for the week. Today, we did those things and also started the consolidation process to clean out the areas where we are getting work done later this year. It's amazing how much junk accumulates as life keeps you busy. We have tentative dates for it to be the two middle weeks of August. We already have plans to be in West Marin for that month or so. Today was the day of prepping the area where the W/D is moving. We also went on several lovely walks. It was warmish (74°) in the city with cold winds.

Nice paint job!
Pomegranate flowers. The picture doesn't capture this but they are the most brilliant red-orange

The jeweled city comes out too late these days. Alas

5:58 am – 8:14 pm, which is 14 hours and 17 minutes of daylight

The bird of the day is a Steller's Eider

Here is a poem for you. (from the translator)

Sending oodles of love,
