Dessication

Dessiccation, dessication, dessication ta de da da. Sounds like the beginning of a song. The wind is so strong, and the humidity is so low, it feels like fire weather in May! In the afternoon, the terrible wind slowed down, and coming back to the city, the humidity felt better, but it's still in the low 40s percentage-wise. It was also 90° in the office, although it was only 82° outside. A fan works well both at work and here at home to help feel more normal. The high in SF today was 79°. Tomorrow, they think it will be a couple of degrees cooler.

Today was a busy day at the office, and tomorrow will be similar, though I'm working from home. I finished my commute book by Kōhei Saitō. It's on the intersection of politics, economy, and capitalism, and how to navigate climate change from a theoretical perspective. My other book is also on Capitalism, by the same name, and it's very large, so I'm excited for a new book off my stack.
