Robins at Dusk

It was a glorious day today with ocean breezes/wind at the witching hour, but lovely all around. Work was really busy with various things. Had a great early meeting with partners from Burkina Faso; the collaboration has been going strong for about 10 years.

I had an errand to renew my KTN (known traveller number). When we arrived, they told us they couldn't even call to let us know our appointment was cancelled because their mainframe computers nationwide have been down all day. They were hopeful that by Monday, it might be fixed. It was like another world over there. Giant freeways, very few trees, super wide streets, this sort of place...it didn't feel like San Francisco.
