Eve of Solstice
Today is the day before the Summer Solstice seems like this should be the festival of festivals. This is the ultimate amount of light of the year. Something worth shouting about. It also marks the shift towards darkness.
This was a usual day in some ways and unusual in others. Went to the farmer's market early for some veggies etc. and it was a lovely day to be out and there were fewer people perhaps the long weekend. Then Lisa and a friend came over to pick up a couple of my mothers Le Creuset pans that I don't use. Much laundry happened and other household things. Made a nice dinner with swordfish, kale and corn with peppers.
