Immigration & Flicker
It was foggy today but got sunny and hot in Oakland (especially in the office). Recently a judge ruled that the suspension of processing immigration benefits for people from 39 different countries was not legal. This meant that I was working on immigration related issues for one of my colleagues. It all is headache making and so stressful. However, there was a beautiful Red-shafted Flicker that made my day.
Steamed artichokes for dinner. I recommend that to everyone. So easy and satisfying.

The bird of the day is the Eastern Meadowlark
