Day of W/D
Today I worked from home and waited for the washer and dryer to arrive. It was supposed to come at 1 pm, but it ended up arriving at 4:40. The delivery guys were lovely, and the old machines have disappeared. There were some snafus, but it's here, and at some point this evening it will be sanitized enough to actually do some laundry. Aside from the luxury of a convenient location to do unscented laundry, this also marks the end of our general rigamarole with the house. The new heater is wonderful and much better than the former (not that it's needed now, but still).
This evening Lisa and I had a date, and we went to Heirloom Cafe. The food was spectacular, and the company was even better.
