Owls, Bats, and Bobcats

We went into town and stopped by the Brickmaiden Bakery for some whole-wheatish sesame bread and a treat. Then, meandered over to the Point Reyes Farmers Market, which is too pricey. It's better to shop at the store or go to the farm stand. Then high-tailed it out to Muddy Hollow for a nice walk through a muddy hollow that parallels the ocean and ends at Limantour Beach. We walked a little closer to the beach to get some water birds and then walked back. Got home around noon. We've walked these trails so often that the spots we've seen birds or other exciting things are given reverence and a pause.

Had a lovely meal at the Station House Cafe. Got a couple of things at the Palace Market. Then had our evening walk to Divide Meadow. Pretty perfect day. Lots and lots of birds.

Nothing better than walking through a Red Alder forest
