Pine Siskins, oh my
Well, we made it up to West Marin. Almost immediately, you could hear the Pine Siskins in the treetops. We took today off as we had errands to do and needed to pack. We also had to take apart the house so that contractors have room to work starting Monday.
The place we are staying is Bear Valley Cottage. It's pretty picturesque, and the Cliff Swallows are still nesting around the eaves. They are so amazing to be so close to them.
We brought up a Soulva chicken and some greens for a no work dinner and got a nice walk up to Divide Meadow and back before it got dark. Boy, there are birds here!
