Maine Event: Day 71

Today was a super rainy and blustery day and we have one more to go. My friend here says we came in with a storm and we will be leaving in a storm. The high was 52° and the low was 48° and for many hours it has been raining and my weather app says 100%.  We managed to get drenched several times as we ran errands and went on walks.
Tonight is my cooking and nutrition class. One of my classmates who has been less impressed with the Euro-centricness of the food reported that they didn't do the homework but made  "Bunny Stew" instead - no bunnies are involved and she uses sweet potatoes instead of regular. It's a South African street food served in a bread bowl.

The flurry of getting ready to come home is fully upon us and yet it is a little early. It is so hard for me to not buy food and let the fridge get empty.

It was not raining at this exact moment but the water was not its usual self.

Rainy day. Puddles everywhere, especially in the dips of brick.

The view isn't bad.

It's chilly out there. Have a cozy night.
