ME II: rainy cool workday
We woke up early to the patter of rain and it has rained all day. We got wet walking down early to the post office to get a magic package filled with 12 different heads of garlic all labeled with their names. We are keeping notes and trying all of them while eating the freshest most wonderful garlic ever. The garlic present is from my friend Noey Turk of Yes Yes Nursery. Then we had a full day of work I'm in catch-up mode after being consumed with the app release. I'm starting to try to pay attention to lichens and mosses and to learn to see them. I've just learned that they are sensitive and die off if they are exposed to different toxins such as pollution that cars make. The trees here including my friend the Red Oak have both mosses and lichens growing on it indicating the general health of the neighborhood. The West End is really nice and quiet with few cars and big trees. We had an evening walk in a mild drizzle as the darkness arrived.

Have a soft evening.
Sending love, Tawnia
