ME II: Eagle + 5 days left
Today was another glorious day with a few clouds but mostly blue skies. The low was 38° and the high was 54°. It noticeably felt like the season is shifting into the colder part of autumn. I think this is just a quick taste as it will get warmer again. More similar to SF temperatures. We started early and finished late wrapping up work more or less so we can wrap up this place and get this place back in shape.
We only had time for a quick 5 min walk at lunch and a Bald Eagle flew right by our house at 2 stories high level. It was super duper amazing and such a treat! I stood in awe for a moment before realizing I might take a picture. Alas, it looks like a tiny dot but I'll share it with you regardless. Then later after work and after cooking dinner when heading out for our evening walk just upon exiting there was a Halloween Bike Party with music and the bikes all decked out in lights and the people in costumes with radical hats and flowing butterfly wings. There were also lots of tandem bikes and kids too even though it was well after dark. They lit up the street and brought loud music. Super fun. We walked a different way but we all ended up at the Western Prom.
Here is Episode 3 of Maine by the Mile
