Foggy day

It was so foggy today that it was heavy and dark and almost raining all day. About 4 pm, it lightened up a little.

Around 7 am on Tuesdays, I can get a very dense loaf of 100% rye pumpernickel bread, if wanted. You need to arrive early, otherwise they sell out - they open at 7 am before it feels like anyone else is in the city. I worked at home and was back before 8 am ish. Otherwise, we walked to drop off a UPS envelope that needed to go out at lunchtime. Dinner consisted of a salad, meatballs and tomato sauce served over spaghetti squash with broccoli. I'm not sure I ever woke up. I need more light. I'm not a shade plant. However, there was much beauty, and the colors are all saturated and lovely.

Valencia Farmers Market is just opening up - one of our local favorite markets. The produce guy is Nepali and is amazing.
The Mission Branch of SF Public Library is getting a ton of work done on it. It feels like it's been closed forever.
The mighty HOUSE SPARROW!

Who's that man in the hat?!!?
Alley love
This is the 4 pm fog lift - just barely before it came in for the night. It never got ungray.

Do I look better this way or that way?

Our hill with 148 steps - great workout. It's located on 22nd Street between Church and Vicksburg and it is one of the steepest streets with cars driving on it. It is tied with Filbert Street between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets as having the steepest grade at 31.5%.
Look at those colors!

Regular regular day. Work is busy for both of us.

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
