There is so much that is lost when there is disregard for either. We live in times where disregard is the new way. I've been thinking about the Stinson Beach siren and how useful that would have been in Texas. Natural disasters can happen to anyone anywhere but some places are more likely. Taking precautions to care for each other seems important. I learned that this same thing happened in 1987 - only 10 children's lives were lost. Apparently, that wasn't enough - maybe this will be.

Today was a usual day at work, banging my head against setting up PayPal for the new online store. On the other hand, with so many people on vacation, I have fewer meetings, allowing me more time for such things.

Not a great picture, but just look at that detail and on such a large building, it's just a great thing to see coming out of BART.
