Fun odessey

Today was fun! We made scrambled eggs and then got in the car and drove to the outskirts of Freestone, CA, to a bakery called Wild Flour. It's a super cute small bakery with a long line and a garden. Got a whole grain and a Danish rye bread. Then we headed to Raspberry U-Pick at Boring Farms, which is down a different country road. Picking raspberries was super fun. I highly recommend such activities. Then we went in search of Ole Red Farmstand, a nearby farm stand where we got dill pickles, peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes. We were home by 11:30, made lunch of tinned fish, rye bread, pickles, and carrot sticks. Bummed around all afternoon and then went to a dinner at Goldfinch. We had OYSTERS! and other delicious shareable food, including ceviche. It is a more fancy restaurant than the others we have gone to, and rather elegant but not stuffy.
