Light rain!

It was cloudy and cool, only slowly warming up today with a high of 79°. I'm interested in how heat and being hot make me feel more connected to my body somehow. I'm not sure if that is how others experience it. Matt has early days this week, and so I'm solo on the morning walk. Work was busy and good. Around 5pm, when I was working outside, it started to rain, so I paused and moved all the pillows, electrical cords, and phone inside, and then went out and sat under the umbrella and finished the report I was working on. Petrichor while working is pretty nice. This evening, it was cool enough that we turned on the oven and made a sheet pan of food, but now the kitchen is hot (which is to say the whole house, as it's a wee place). After dinner, we walked down and picked up a few more items from the store, and got rained on coming home. The crickets are singing, all the windows and doors are open, and it's raining. Life is good.
