Three Warbler Day

Today was a nice weather day. It started foggy and cool and then warmed up around mid-morning. There were light winds and sun for the afternoon. The birds were out. We both got to go on our morning walk together. We had a productive work day. Then we made a Kurdish casserole with lamb, eggplant, green frying peppers, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. It's topped with an acidic liquid made from sumac and lemon and then baked. We add a couple of Anaheim peppers to the top as it's cooking. Finished with garlic and parsley. Served with a bulgar pilaf with pine nuts and a salad. That was fun! Then we went to the store to buy some breakfast items. Tomorrow is Saturday! Wowzers. It's unbelievable that September is almost over.
