A Good Cafe

Today we did a bunch of running around. Early, I went down to the farmers' market for a few things. It had fewer farms, but the regulars were there, and I got what I went for and a few things more. There is a new great fish store in the Ferry Building, which is another bonus for making it to that market. Then we caught the J and went to SFMOMA for a show, and then walked up to North Beach and cruised around there. We ended up having a bite to eat at Greco, which is a great cafe. We get to see the same people who worked there 15 years ago. Then we walked down and caught the J home. Had a nap, did a few house chores, and then made a nice dinner that had clams and poached fish, and some vegetables. Also, it's persimmon season, and they are so good with a radicchio salad.

The air quality is still schmutzy. The morning was better than it is now. It's also in the 40s and feels chilly with the dirty fog and breezes. Good night to stay in and be cozy.

Waxing Gibbous 70.2% (camera just can't capture it the way our eyes can, sorry it looks like an orb, but in real life it's a fat half)

Here is the etymology of Elephant.

Have a wonderful last day of November.
