Today we had a Turkey Sandwich luncheon with friends at our place. So much more fun than the whole Thanksgiving thing again. Additionally, the fixings for sandwiches are diverse and fun to assemble. Early on, we walked to our local market for a few things, like lettuce and cheese, and normally, very busy streets were deserted. It was lovely ahead of the insanity that is the Christmas shopping season in this neighborhood. Then came home and pulled lunch together. The rest of the day was spent chatting with good friends. Not a bad way to end a four-day weekend. Start with family and end with friends.

This truck is often parked in our alley and is driven by an older Latino who is a very lovely human. Under the hat, it says Brittany.

Here is a poem for you.

Have a wonderful day ahead (and all of a sudden it is December)

Sending oodles of love,
