Rain, rain, come and play

Today we slept in a little and then went on our usual weekend walk. Then the day evaporated doing chores and cooking. It rained on and off throughout the day with interuptions for sunshine and glorious clouds.

There is only one more day of rain on the horizon, and little by little (although not nearly fast enough), the days are getting longer. My fingers are crossed that we will keep relatively good air quality for a while after this, as the high-pressure ridge may have relaxed.

Seems related to an orchid and an iris, only it's itty bitty. Rosemary is a magical plant that only grows in Mediterranean climates.

We haven't been seeing or hearing the Red-masked Parakeets for a bit. We are wondering where they are hiding out during the storm.
Sunlight on only one tiny area

Here is a poem for you.
