This is the second or third day of the heatwave. I feel a lot of solidarity as it's hot in this half of the country. It seems a little cooler today here on the island but maybe not on the mainland. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler - still in the 80s but the low 80s instead of the high 80s. Early we went for a walk though the forest to look for birds. Otherwise we only ventured out for iced coffee across the street. Although it's a heat wave it's still a magical place and it was okay to have a day to chill. It went by quick.

It's authentically summer weather.

Venus (and yes even at 9pm it's still 80° and a little muggy - I'm comfortable but get hot when walking fast, Matt lives hot always)
