Vacation!
We are here for the next 7 days on vacation. Today we relaxed, as there are really a lot of people and cars here for the Labor Day Weekend. Maybe on Tuesday we will really start our vacation and roam around this beautiful place more widely.
Today we had our usual early morning walk and did the same this evening after the crowds had dissipated. On days like this, when there are really a lot of people, the birds hide on the trails. However, there were many in our backyard here. On our way out in the evening, there was a kid around 11 who, with binoculars, approached us, super excited to meet fellow "birders". It was quite adorable.
The middle of the day was spent kicking around here. Matt has many projects on the computer that he is working on outside of work, and I cooked and put things away. I expect tomorrow will be more of the same, except we need to go into town for groceries. The only food in our fridge is a bunch of wilted green onions.
